Senior Consultant – Global Compliance & Reporting

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in Egypt. You will lead complex tax engagements, manage client compliance and reporting needs, and contribute to the growth of the GCR practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring high‑quality tax compliance and reporting services.
• Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Monitor progress, standardise processes, anticipate risks, and drive performance‑improvement solutions.
• Supervise and coach high‑performing teams, fostering a positive learning culture.
• Ensure adherence to EY’s Tax Quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional qualification (MBA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, etc.).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules, tax accounting and tax auditing, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Proven managerial and project‑management experience.
• Experience working with multinational clients in a multicultural environment.
• Strong commercial, legislative and industry knowledge.
