Senior Data Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Aspire you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that power our production workflows. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance data solutions on cloud‑based warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end ETL/ELT pipelines from ingestion to transformation and delivery.
• Develop scalable, maintainable data workflows using Python.
• Integrate pipelines with internal systems and modules.
• Work with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Optimize SQL queries for high‑performance processing.
• Apply best practices in data engineering and data‑warehousing architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes for data pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Python (core requirement).
• Very strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or BigQuery).
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT architecture, data‑warehouse concepts, and modeling.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles (flexible for strong candidates).
• Proven track record building production‑grade data pipelines.
