Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will lead the Finance function for Chalhoub Group’s operations in Egypt, working closely with the Country Managing Director and the heads of Finance for both Country Management and Managed Companies. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial excellence across a multi‑brand luxury retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance Department’s daily operations, fostering teamwork and high‑performance standards.
• Monitor the yearly finance budget and control expenditures to optimise resource use.
• Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly management reports for Egypt, highlighting key performance indicators, variance analysis, and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with the Country Managing Director and Finance heads of Country Management and Managed Companies to ensure alignment.
• Coach, develop and manage a team of finance professionals responsible for financial control of business units across the country.
• Partner with HR to deliver training programmes and track staff progress in finance competencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in a multi‑business or retail environment.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop finance teams.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior leadership and business unit heads.
• Experience in the luxury or retail sector is a plus.
