Senior Safety Supervisor (Egyptian Only)

About the role

The Senior Safety Supervisor ensures a safe and secure environment for guests, employees and assets at the Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski in Cairo. Reporting to senior management, the role coordinates the hotel’s safety program, conducts inspections, delivers training and leads emergency response teams.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and report injuries, property damage and claims related to safety.
• Inspect facilities, construction sites, equipment and work practices for compliance with legal requirements and Kempinski standards.
• Maintain records of industrial injuries and safety training, and perform follow‑up inspections.
• Develop and deliver safety training materials, newsletters and safety meetings.
• Lead fire‑fighting and emergency teams, and maintain fire extinguishers and alarm monitoring systems.

Required profile

• Egyptian nationality with a valid work permit.
• Minimum two years of experience in safety inspection, promotion or training.
• College‑level coursework in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic communication skills.
• Knowledge of accident prevention, hazardous material handling and emergency preparedness.
