Social Media Strategist – Client Account Lead

About the role

The Social Media Strategist will be the primary accountable partner for Wink Marketing clients, owning the end‑to‑end strategic foundation of campaigns. The role manages client communication, enforces review boundaries, and ensures every campaign meets commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Audit client business objectives, brand assets, target audiences and competitors to draft documented strategy briefs before execution.
• Serve as the single point of contact on Slack/WhatsApp, sending weekly Tuesday Pulse Checks summarising spend, performance metrics and production status.
• Lead monthly strategy review meetings focused on meaningful business results.
• Enforce client review windows and revision round limits, managing scope creep by documenting, pricing and securing approval for material changes.
• Conduct strategic and commercial quality assurance on all client‑facing deliverables, verifying strategy alignment, offer accuracy and call‑to‑action precision.
• Maintain the client’s Promise Register board to track campaign milestones, deadlines, assigned owners and evidence of completion.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of agency experience combining social media strategy, account management and client leadership.
• Proven track record of building data‑backed content strategies that achieved verified business growth.
• Deep mastery of client handling, scope control and project‑management tools such as Notion, ClickUp and Frame.io.
• Strong commercial acumen – ability to translate vanity engagement metrics into business outcomes.
• Languages: Arabic (native) and English (proficient).
