Suggested Improvement Operations Manager

About the role

The Suggested Improvement (SI) Operations Manager will partner with Live Outage (LO) Technology Directors and Methods Managers to ensure timely resolution and implementation of suggested improvements and change requests. This role drives prioritisation of improvements in line with safety, quality, delivery, cost and customer strategy while fostering strong collaboration between LO and Methods content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with LO Technology Directors.
• Establish a regular rhythm with Technology Directors and Methods Managers to address SI and change requests promptly.
• Own the end‑to‑end process for all SIs, from receipt through implementation.
• Prioritise and execute SIs according to business priorities (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Customer/Strategy).
• Utilise daily‑management database tools to track, report and manage progress.
• Drive synergy between LO and Methods content, ensuring 100% read‑across between checklists and field procedures.
• Research media libraries and company applications to locate required content.
• Identify field opportunities with LO Technology Directors and coordinate with field resources to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with technical and managerial stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple improvement requests simultaneously.
• Experience driving prioritisation and execution of operational initiatives.
• Familiarity with daily‑management and tracking tools for progress reporting.
• Ability to research and locate technical content across media libraries and applications.
