Team Leader Development Engineer – Real Estate Projects

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Architectural Development Team Leader to drive the end‑to‑end development of residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects in Cairo. The role combines senior engineering oversight with architectural design management, ensuring that each project meets our high standards of quality, profitability and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and development of residential, commercial, administrative and mixed‑use projects, including market research, competitor analysis and highest‑and‑best‑use studies.
• Identify and assess new investment and development opportunities aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
• Conduct land acquisition assessments, site due diligence and prepare development briefs, concept proposals and feasibility recommendations for senior management.
• Review and evaluate concept, schematic and detailed architectural designs, ensuring compliance with local regulations, authority requirements and company standards.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and internal technical teams to optimise functionality, value engineering and project cost.
• Act as the central point of contact between consultants, technical departments, commercial teams and senior management, aligning project requirements across sales, marketing, construction and finance.
• Prepare development reports, presentations and strategic recommendations, and present opportunities to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary development teams in real‑estate or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural design processes, feasibility studies and investment evaluation.
• Excellent coordination skills with consultants, internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Ability to conduct market research, competitor analysis and highest‑and‑best‑use assessments.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
