About the role

We are looking for a Field Surveyor to join a construction and infrastructure project. The professional will be responsible for carrying out topographic surveys, layout and control activities, ensuring that the works are executed according to the approved plans, levels, elevations and alignments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field topographic surveys and collect accurate data using Total Station and GPS/GNSS RTK equipment.
• Execute layout (replanteo) and control of construction works to verify compliance with design drawings.
• Prepare and update As‑Built drawings, especially for metal structures.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve any discrepancies between the field and the design.
• Maintain survey records and deliver reports in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Licentiate degree in Surveying (mandatory).
• Active affiliation with the CFIA (mandatory).
• Minimum three years of experience in construction or infrastructure surveying.
• Immediate availability and willingness to stay on‑site in Tortuguero for the project duration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Total Station and GPS/GNSS RTK equipment.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in metal‑structure surveying and producing As‑Built plans.
