Transportation Assistant Analyst – French Speaker

About the role

We are looking for a Transportation Assistant Analyst who is fluent in French to coordinate daily transportation operations with carriers and warehouses. The role ensures efficient order execution, cost control and smooth collaboration across supply‑chain stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations with third‑party transport providers and warehouses.
• Receive transportation orders from planning teams and communicate them to carriers via the appropriate systems.
• Monitor order execution, provide shipment notifications and resolve operational issues with carriers.
• Prepare transportation forecasts, shipment schedules and manage warehouse slot bookings.
• Track inbound transportation KPIs such as on‑time delivery and carrier acceptance.
• Handle delivery issues, refusals and escalations, and coordinate returns and other exceptions.
• Maintain carrier cost data, process carrier claims and support cost‑impact communications.
• Create and manage purchase orders for logistics service providers, coordinate invoice processing and resolve billing discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proficiency in English and French at C1 level (written and spoken).
• At least two years of experience in logistics operations, stakeholder management with carriers and warehouses.
• Working knowledge of stock planning, inventory management and MRP systems (preferably SAP).
• Experience with transportation management systems (gTMS) and advanced Excel/Office skills.
• Ability to coordinate disparate groups to drive problem resolution.
