Workshop Team Leader – Passenger Cars

About the role

The Workshop Team Leader will oversee the passenger‑car service bay, ensuring every vehicle is repaired correctly the first time and delivered within the promised time and cost. The role combines hands‑on technical supervision with coordination of parts, service advisors and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee that customer vehicles are fixed correctly on the first attempt.
• Ensure repairs are completed within the agreed delivery time and cost estimate.
• Order parts and follow up with the Parts Department.
• Inspect and test‑drive repaired vehicles; return any that fail quality control to the responsible technician.
• Assist service advisors in diagnosing vehicle problems when needed.
• Maintain proper use of service facilities, equipment, manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Uphold high standards of workshop cleanliness, personal hygiene and uniform appearance.
• Provide technicians with clear feedback on returned vehicles to guide problem resolution.
• Advise management on technician performance, training needs and other operational issues.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering degree.
• Valid driving license.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a workshop team.
• Strong planning and organizing capabilities.
• Solid technical knowledge of vehicle systems.
