Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Al Jizah

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site Accountant role based in Al Jizah, Egypt. The Accountant will handle daily bookkeeping, record and reconcile financial transactions, and maintain accurate general ledger entries in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare invoices and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare basic financial reports and support tax and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with operations and warehousing teams to ensure proper financial tracking of inventory and distribution activities.
• Uphold quality and compliance standards in all financial processes.

Required profile

• Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and basic tax and audit support.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (data entry, spreadsheets, financial reporting tools).
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities to interpret financial data and recommend corrective actions.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication for collaboration with finance, operations, and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
