Accountant

About the role

Hikma is seeking an Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounts payable operations across the organisation. The role involves processing invoices, handling payments, and ensuring accurate vendor reconciliations while supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process PO and non‑PO invoices, manage payment holds and cycles, and handle expense reimbursements.
• Identify bottlenecks in the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) cycle, conduct impact and risk assessments, and report status.
• Analyze and monitor the general ledger and GR/IR accounts, performing detailed aging analysis and reconciliations.
• Track supplier delivery performance and resolve late order issues.
• Communicate accounts payable policies, finance policies, and approval levels to internal departments and business partners.
• Post intercompany journal entries for cross‑company locations.
• Manage petty cash fund reimbursements for agency funds.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities.

Required profile

• Experience in accounts payable operations and invoice processing.
• Understanding of the full P2P cycle and ability to resolve related issues.
• Proficiency in general ledger monitoring and GR/IR reconciliation.
• Capability to communicate finance policies and approval levels clearly.
• Experience with intercompany journal entries and petty cash handling.
• Ability to contribute to month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
