Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance function within a dynamic regional advertising company. The role is on‑site in Cairo and involves overseeing financial statement preparation, journal entries, and fixed‑asset accuracy while ensuring compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, delivering timely financial statements in line with IFRS and internal standards.
• Supervise the accounting team, mentor staff, and ensure robust internal controls and reconciliations.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and fixed‑asset tracking.
• Coordinate with external auditors and oversee VAT and annual income‑tax filings for Egypt, UAE and KSA.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring to maintain financial stability.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of accounting/finance experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Professional proficiency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Experience with VAT and income‑tax filing in Egypt, UAE and KSA.
