AI Engineer – Generative AI R&D

About the role

Valeo is seeking an AI Engineer to join its AI4ALL initiative. You will help design and implement a robust, adaptable AI framework that integrates generative AI into Valeo’s product development workflow, driving efficiency and intelligent automation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and reuse core AI components of the framework.
• Implement APIs and models, optimise performance, and integrate with adjacent systems.
• Conduct unit, API, and load testing for all components.
• Document the developed components thoroughly.
• Deploy and maintain AI‑powered products.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 0‑3 years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of AI/ML and generative AI concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) is a plus.
