AI Quality Evaluator – Arabic (12‑month contract)

About the role

Canva is looking for a native Arabic speaker to join its localisation team on a 12‑month contract. You will help ensure that AI‑generated content meets Canva’s quality standards for Arabic‑speaking users, contributing to the company’s global AI experience.

Key responsibilities

• Label, annotate, and evaluate photos, graphics, videos, stickers, and designs in Arabic, checking linguistic quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance.
• Assess AI‑generated content against Canva’s quality bar for Arabic users.
• Build and enrich Arabic‑specific datasets to support AI feature localisation.
• Deliver labelled assets on schedule, meeting output targets across varied task types.
• Review and refine your own labels based on feedback to maintain consistency.
• Collaborate with data‑labelling teams in the Philippines and the EU to align quality standards.

Required profile

• Native Arabic speaker with strong written and spoken English.
• Highly detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Self‑directed and able to manage multiple projects without supervision.
• Quick to learn and apply new guidelines consistently.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for building language experiences.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
