Key responsibilities

• Challenge AI models with adversarial, unusual, and edge‑case inputs to reveal weaknesses.
• Identify unsafe, biased, or inappropriate AI outputs.
• Document safety issues with clear examples and detailed explanations.
• Rate AI responses using structured safety and helpfulness evaluation scales.
• Follow red‑team protocols and structured testing guidelines.
• Work independently and asynchronously, managing your own schedule.

Required profile

• A natural critical thinker who enjoys questioning assumptions and probing for hidden issues.
• Comfortable exploring unusual scenarios and thinking like an adversary.
• Strong written communication skills for precise problem description.
• Detail‑oriented and consistent in evaluating and documenting findings.
• Genuine interest in AI safety and responsible technology development.
• No cybersecurity, AI, or technical background required.
• Nice to have: experience in research, journalism, quality assurance, or content evaluation; familiarity with AI chatbots as an end user; background in ethics, policy, psychology, or related fields.
