AI/ML Engineering Tech Lead – Cairo

About the role

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineering Tech Lead to join Deloitte Innovation Hub in Cairo. The role involves delivering complex technical solutions for clients by leading data‑driven projects from requirement gathering through model deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather requirements and understand business pain points.
• Collect, clean and pre‑process large datasets, including feature engineering and normalization.
• Design, develop and optimise machine‑learning algorithms for accuracy, efficiency and scalability.
• Train, test and fine‑tune models, evaluating performance with appropriate metrics.
• Create clear data visualisations to communicate insights using tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau or Power BI.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset with ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience communicating technical solutions to both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end ML projects.
