Architect – Technical Office (Full‑time, Alexandria)

About the role

GOWS Architects is seeking a full‑time Architect for its Technical Office in Alexandria. The role supports the design and delivery of architectural and interior projects, ensuring technical accuracy from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop construction drawings, details, and documentation.
• Coordinate with the design team to produce coordinated construction documents.
• Assist in the preparation of permit and tender packages.
• Review project specifications and ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
• Respond to site‑related technical inquiries and maintain organized project files.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to move projects efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Experience in architectural or technical office roles, preferably with interior design and planning exposure.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional registration or pursuit of registration is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit or comparable BIM software.
• Knowledge of SketchUp for 3D visualization.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for presentation graphics.
