Architectural Lead – Marine

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Lead specialising in marine and waterfront projects to join our engineering consultancy team in Egypt. The successful candidate will drive design coordination across multidisciplinary teams and ensure technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural review and coordination for marine and waterfront developments such as marinas, yacht clubs, terminals and related facilities.
• Collaborate with architectural, marine, structural, infrastructure, landscape and MEP disciplines to align design solutions.
• Review consultant design deliverables for compliance with project requirements, regulations and industry standards.
• Participate in design reviews, technical coordination meetings and value‑engineering workshops.
• Monitor design progress, identify risks and technical challenges, and propose mitigation measures.
• Assess constructability, operational functionality and long‑term maintainability of designs.
• Review contractor sub‑missions, shop drawings and material proposals, providing technical guidance during construction.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders, supporting reporting, change and risk management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience with a strong focus on marine, waterfront, marina, coastal or large mixed‑use developments.
• Previous experience in a Project Management Consultancy, Engineering Consultancy or property development environment is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver high‑quality engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
