Architecture Team Leader

About the role

Floatmap is seeking an Architecture Team Leader to head its architectural team in Alexandria, Egypt. This full‑time, on‑site position will drive the planning, design, and coordination of building projects while ensuring compliance with client requirements and engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architectural team through concept development, design refinement, and final documentation.
• Review and approve drawings, 3D models, and technical details.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate BIM workflows and integrate multidisciplinary models.
• Ensure designs meet local building codes and regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster collaboration.
• Communicate progress and issues to stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Proven experience leading architectural teams on building projects.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian building codes, permitting processes, and integrated engineering environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
