About the role

The Assistant Construction Manager supports the on‑site management team by overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely progress. This role acts as a liaison between contractors, consultants, and client representatives to keep projects on track.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, including inspections and logistics coordination.
• Support monitoring of contractor performance, quality standards, and safety compliance.
• Enforce quality assurance procedures and coordinate inspections with supervision consultants.
• Maintain accurate site documentation such as daily reports, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.
• Track project schedule, milestones, and risks, proposing corrective actions when needed.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure smooth communication.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on the construction site.
