Assistant Quality Manager

About the role

Gleeds is seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to support quality assurance activities across its construction projects in Giza. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that materials, workmanship, and processes meet the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes and procedures across construction projects.
• Support inspections and testing activities for construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to verify quality requirements and support testing and inspection activities.
• Maintain document control systems related to quality management, including records, reports, inspection logs, and related documentation.
• Promote quality awareness and support continuous improvement initiatives across project teams.
• Identify non‑conformities and support corrective and preventive action processes.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Support the identification of quality‑related risks and assist in implementing mitigation measures.
• Work closely with project teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in understanding and implementing client quality expectations and project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality management within the construction industry.
• Professional certifications and affiliations are considered an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Residence in Giza or surrounding areas preferred for commuting.
