Associate Scientist – Formulation Development (R&D Pharmacist)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Scientist to support formulation development and research‑and‑development activities within our pharmaceutical laboratory. The role involves designing and executing pre‑formulation and formulation trials for new products, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature surveys and perform pre‑formulation and formulation trials to meet research objectives.
• Document and report all observations and results according to established procedures.
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment following SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Prepare samples for stability and bio‑equivalence studies.
• Execute pilot, scale‑up, and validation batches and generate the necessary documentation.
• Follow occupational safety and waste management procedures.
• Support any additional tasks related to formulation development and technology transfer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a grade of “Very good” or “Excellent”.
• 0–1 years of experience in formulation development or related pharmaceutical research.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Operating laboratory instrumentation.
• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance.
• Sample preparation for stability and bio‑equivalence studies.
• Pilot scale‑up and validation batch execution.
