Automation QA Engineer (QVAC) – 100% Remote

About the role

Join Tether’s global fintech team as an Automation QA Engineer, focusing on both desktop and mobile applications. You will own test automation while also performing manual and exploratory testing to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test suites for critical user flows on desktop (Electron) and mobile (React Native) platforms.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and keep them fast, reliable, and flaky‑free.
• Investigate failures, manage test data and environments, and report clear, reproducible bugs.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners on testability, acceptance criteria, and regression coverage.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation with hands‑on manual and exploratory testing.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.

Required skills

• Playwright for desktop/web automation.
• WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile automation on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native applications.
• Running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Use of AI tools in QA and critical review of their output.
