Bag Designer – Leather Handbag Specialist

About the role

We are launching a new collection of leather handbags and need a talented Bag Designer to turn creative concepts into production‑ready products. You will work under a defined creative direction while contributing your own design ideas from sketch to final sample.

Key responsibilities

• Develop initial bag design sketches aligned with the creative brief.
• Provide design suggestions and refinements throughout the development cycle.
• Create detailed technical drawings and production‑ready tech packs.
• Define bag structure, proportions, and functional features.
• Select appropriate leathers, hardware, and finishing details.
• Support sampling, work closely with manufacturers, and oversee prototyping.

Required profile

• Proven experience in handbag or leather bag design.
• Strong understanding of bag construction and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and comprehensive tech packs.
• Experience collaborating with factories or leather workshops is highly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to execution quality.
