About the role
The Banking Accountant is responsible for managing bank transactions, reconciling statements, and supporting the accounting department's objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Record bank transactions, including cash deposits, check processing, and issuing checks to suppliers.
- Monitor the flow and processing of checks and issue payments to suppliers.
- Track notes receivable and notes payable under collection.
- Record bank charges, fees, and interest transactions.
- Prepare and monitor bank statements, perform bank reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies with banks.
- Prepare liquidity and cash flow position reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned to achieve the accounting department's objectives.
Required profile
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Professional proficiency in banking and accounting processes.
