Batch Plant Manager – Ready‑Mix Concrete

About the role

The Batch Plant Manager will lead the operations of Lafarge's ready‑mix concrete batch plant in Ain Al‑Sokhna. The role ensures the plant meets production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce all health, safety and environmental legislation and Lafarge safety standards across the plant.
• Provide monthly safety performance reports, lead investigations of major incidents and develop improvement plans.
• Prepare and manage the plant’s annual budget, analyse accounts, and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Monitor operational performance, reduce equipment and truck downtime, and oversee major refurbishments.
• Supervise concrete plant erection, removal and major electrical works.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a ready‑mix concrete batch plant or similar industrial operation.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to promote a safety culture.
• Demonstrated budgeting and cost‑control skills.
