Billing Supervisor

About the role

Air Liquide is looking for a Billing Supervisor in Cairo who will drive billing excellence and compliance across Egypt operations. The role resolves complex customer claims quickly, champions root-cause analysis to eliminate systemic discrepancies, and ensures accurate, compliant invoicing for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the timely and accurate generation of invoices, ensuring billing information is correct and complies with company policies and procedures.
• Review and analyse billing data and reports to spot discrepancies or errors and resolve them.
• Maintain client accounts so that billing records stay up to date.
• Resolve client inquiries and disputes about billing, delivering good customer service and keeping positive relationships.
• Work with Collection, Customer Service, Finance, Sales and IT to align billing processes with business objectives and fix systemic errors and system updates.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal financial controls, company policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of billing or financial operations experience in a fast-paced multinational corporation.
• Fluent English with polished communication skills for cross-border collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Client-first mindset, high degree of autonomy and strong ethical standards and compliance discipline.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in modern ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Navision.
• Expert-level MS Excel or Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivot tables, data modelling).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and variance interpretation.
