BIM Architect – Architectural BIM Engineer

About the role

The Architectural BIM Engineer creates, develops, and manages high‑quality BIM models for architectural elements throughout all project phases, from concept to as‑built. You will ensure accurate digital representation, support multidisciplinary coordination, and uphold BIM standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed architectural BIM models in Revit, following project design and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Produce architectural drawings – plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and detailed views.
• Maintain required Level of Development (LOD 300‑500) according to project stage.
• Create families, parametric components, and detailed elements as needed.
• Collaborate with architects, structural and MEP teams to deliver coordinated, clash‑free models.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage and resolve conflicts.
• Update models with changes from consultants, contractors, and site instructions.
• Generate coordinated shop, tender, and as‑built drawings.
• Conduct quality audits on models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support quantity take‑offs, area calculations, and material schedules from BIM data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering or related field.
• 2–7 years of experience as an Architectural BIM Modeler/Engineer in construction or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary coordination.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (Architecture) – mandatory.
• Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
• AutoCAD.
• BIM360 and other BIM collaboration platforms.
