BIM Engineer II – Structural (French Speaking)

About the role

The BIM Engineer II – Structural will join a multidisciplinary team of structural engineers, supporting design delivery and coordination across projects. The role focuses on creating and managing 3D structural models, producing accurate 2D documentation, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D structural models using Autodesk Revit.
• Generate 2D drawing sheets from the 3D models and produce detailed drawings in AutoCAD.
• Exchange and incorporate mark‑ups across PDF, DWG and DWF formats.
• Apply sound structural judgment to schematics and initial proposals.
• Create foundation plans, sections, elevations and detailed sections as designs evolve.
• Prepare material take‑offs from models and drawings.
• Review sketches, specifications and engineering data to ensure compliance with design concepts.
• Support additional design and coordination tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of design and BIM modelling experience in structural engineering.
• Proven experience with concrete foundations, concrete structures and steel structures.
• Fluent French communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Capability to work independently and collaborate across disciplines.
