BIM Modeler (Architectural & Structural) – Revit

About the role

The BIM Modeler will develop, maintain, and coordinate detailed Building Information Models for architectural and structural disciplines. Working closely with the Technical Manager and drafting team, the role ensures that BIM outputs align with project standards, ISO 19650, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update architectural and structural BIM models in Revit according to approved designs and BIM Execution Plans.
• Produce coordinated 3D models, construction drawings, shop drawings, and schedules derived from the BIM environment.
• Participate in clash detection sessions, resolve interdisciplinary conflicts, and document agreed solutions.
• Incorporate design changes, RFIs, and site condition updates while maintaining proper model structure, naming conventions, and version control.
• Support quantity take‑offs, simulations, visualisations, and the preparation of as‑built models.
• Assist the Technical Manager with BIM‑related reports, submissions, and coordination activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of BIM deliverables in line with project milestones and quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in BIM modelling for architectural and structural projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced skills in Revit (BIM Revit – ACC).
• Competence with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
