Business Analyst Associate – Advisory

About the role

At PwC, the Business Analyst Associate works within the Advisory service line, focusing on product management and software innovation. The role sits at the intersection of business, user experience, and technology, driving product development from definition through release and end‑of‑life.

Key responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Interviewing stakeholders, conducting workshops, and analyzing business needs to document functional and technical requirements.
• Process Analysis & Improvement: Evaluating current workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
• Documentation & Reporting: Creating detailed reports, including business requirements documents (BRD), user stories, and process maps.
• Solution Evaluation: Assessing potential solutions, including vendor evaluation and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Implementation Support: Assisting with testing, quality checks, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training staff on new systems.
• Communication: Acting as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure technical solutions meet business goals.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving ability to identify issues and develop practical, efficient solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; experience in a similar analytical role.
