Business Development Manager – Software Sales for Oil & Gas

About the role

Azeus Convene is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive software sales within the oil & gas sector. You will be responsible for expanding the company’s footprint in the Egyptian market by promoting its meeting and collaboration solutions to large enterprises and government‑listed companies.

Key responsibilities

• Independently achieve sales targets through proactive business development and sales strategies.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to showcase solution value.
• Generate sales‑qualified leads via targeted outreach, networking and other lead‑generation activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from lead generation to deal closure.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitors and market conditions to identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT software sales within the oil & gas industry.
• Educational background in Business Management (Computer Science is a plus).
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and generating leads.
• Experience selling software to BFSI, government‑listed companies and large enterprises.
