CCTV Officer

About the role

We are looking for a vigilant CCTV Officer to join the security team of our new Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. The role is based in the hotel’s control room and is essential for maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor CCTV feeds, alarm systems and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to incidents such as disturbances, trespassing, theft, fire alarms, medical emergencies or natural disasters.
• Coordinate with on‑site security staff, management and external authorities, acting as the communication hub during emergencies.
• Control access to restricted areas using keycard, biometric systems or manual logs.
• Oversee the functioning of alarm systems, troubleshoot malfunctions and ensure all security equipment operates correctly.
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents, system failures and actions taken; prepare daily security reports for management.
• Assist in training new control‑room operators and other hotel associates on security procedures and equipment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in security or control‑room operations is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV and related security systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with team members and external agencies.
• Ability to stay alert, act decisively and follow emergency protocols.
