Chef de Cuisine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead the kitchen of our new Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, innovative dishes while maintaining the brand’s vibrant and iconic culinary standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high performance, adherence to standards, and smooth daily operations.
• Design, plan, and update menus using seasonal ingredients, creating new recipes that reflect the restaurant’s concept.
• Hire, train, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a cohesive team.
• Oversee inventory management, work with suppliers, control food costs, and minimize waste while maintaining quality.
• Ensure food quality and consistency through regular checks of preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Maintain compliance with local health and safety regulations, implementing food safety protocols and keeping the kitchen clean and safe.
