Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Join the culinary team at Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile, a prestigious property within the Accor network. As a Chef de Partie you will lead a station in a high‑end hotel kitchen, delivering consistently excellent dishes while upholding the brand’s standards of responsible hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked workstation, ensuring all equipment is functional.
• Pre‑prepare ingredients and components before service to guarantee smooth workflow.
• Guide and train junior chefs or commis cooks assigned to the station.
• Manage supplies, place orders for ingredients and monitor stock levels for the section.
• Contribute to menu planning, recipe development and occasional creation of new dishes.
• Enforce sanitation standards and comply with food safety regulations.

Required profile

• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience in luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Opera hotel management system or a similar platform.
