Chief Accountant

About the role

New Motors, a leading manufacturer of tractors, equipment, and agricultural machinery, is looking for a Chief Accountant to oversee its accounting and financial operations in Tanta, Gharbia. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with policies, and supports management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations and conduct account audits.
• Prepare and review journal entries and accounting reconciliations.
• Monitor customer, supplier, and bank accounts, as well as receivables.
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely collection of dues and manage overdue receivables.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, statements, and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Track sales, purchases, inventory, and spare parts accounts.
• Review expenses, revenues, cash flows, and tax obligations.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors and provide financial analyses for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial companies.
• Proven ability to prepare financial reports and statements.
• Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven work habits.
• Leadership experience and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in English is preferred.
