Civil Construction Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Civil Construction Engineer to join Haronco's construction team in Tanta. The role involves supervising and coordinating civil works on‑site, ensuring that all activities follow approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities on site.
• Verify that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Review and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, surveyors, and other disciplines.
• Monitor execution of foundations, reinforced concrete, blockwork, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and quality of executed works.
• Prepare material and inspection requests and compile site reports.
• Measure completed works and assist with BOQ quantities and quantity take‑off.
• Report progress, delays, or technical issues to the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with consultants to resolve on‑site technical problems.
• Ensure proper material usage, waste minimisation, and compliance with quality and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in civil construction or site engineering.
• Practical experience in site execution and supervision.
• Strong ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
• Good knowledge of reinforced concrete works, foundations, and general building construction.
• Experience with quantity take‑off, BOQ preparation, and measurements is preferred.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
