Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Join an international health‑tech startup that is reinventing patient care through technology. As a Cloud Security Engineer you will safeguard a modern, container‑based platform built on AWS, Docker and Kubernetes, while helping the team embed security into every stage of development.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, triage findings and drive end‑to‑end remediation.
• Design and implement secure infrastructure architecture with compliance in mind.
• Apply DevOps practices to infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD pipelines and cloud configuration (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Track emerging threats, CVEs and advisories and ensure timely mitigation.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support and maintain compliance with healthcare‑related standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

Required profile

• Solid experience in DevOps, SRE or cloud security roles with hands‑on infrastructure work.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools, especially Terraform.
• Experience with cloud security posture management and vulnerability management processes.
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR; healthcare‑specific a plus).
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset and ability to communicate risk clearly.
• Professional English proficiency.
