Cluster Commercial Director – Red Sea Region

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cluster Commercial Director to lead commercial operations across the Red Sea region, based in Hurghada, Egypt. The role will drive revenue growth, market‑share expansion and operational excellence for a portfolio of hotels within the Accor network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to increase revenue and market share across the cluster.
• Lead, mentor and manage high‑performing commercial teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Own the cluster P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring to meet profitability targets.
• Identify commercial opportunities through market analysis, competitive intelligence and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee pricing, revenue optimisation and commercial negotiations to maximise profitability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure commercial objectives align with organisational goals and corporate standards.
• Drive operational efficiency across all commercial functions and conduct regular performance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of commercial or sales leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a cluster or multi‑unit management role.
• Proven expertise in P&L management, financial forecasting and budget administration.
• Successful track record of developing and executing commercial strategies that deliver measurable revenue growth.
• Strong people‑management skills with experience building and motivating high‑performing teams.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with the capacity to balance short‑term objectives with long‑term vision.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
