Commercial Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Commercial Manager – Manufacturing Operations will lead all commercial activities that support the production and supply chain of personal‑care products. This role ensures invoicing, dispatch, and documentation are accurate, compliant and delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, verification and processing of customer invoices, guaranteeing compliance with GST and excise regulations.
• Manage dispatch schedules, coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of finished goods to customers.
• Maintain commercial records including purchase orders, delivery challans, goods receipt notes and statutory documents.
• Act as the primary liaison with vendors, transporters and customers to facilitate smooth commercial transactions.
• Support internal and external audits by ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.
• Generate regular MIS reports on invoicing, dispatches and other commercial metrics.
• Collaborate closely with production, warehouse and finance teams to align commercial operations with overall business objectives.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in the personal‑care or cosmetics manufacturing sector.
• Strong background in invoicing, dispatch, logistics and commercial documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Tally.
• Good understanding of GST, excise and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration or a related field; logistics or ERP certifications are a plus.
