Community Programme Officer

About the role

Plan International Egypt is seeking a Community Programme Officer to act as the focal point for sponsorship and programme implementation at both umbrella partner and grassroots levels. The role involves building strong relationships with communities, children, families, sponsored children and partner organisations while driving community mobilisation and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community members, children, families, sponsored children and partner organisations.
• Facilitate community mobilisation activities, consultations and the implementation of programmes and projects.
• Document and communicate project progress, lessons learned and success stories for stakeholder visibility.
• Review and settle project financials, ensuring compliance with Plan International policies and procedures.
• Support partner organisations in meeting financial management standards.

Required profile

• Experience in community mobilisation, programme implementation and financial review within a development or humanitarian context.
• Ability to work closely with children, families and partner organisations.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Plan International policies and child‑rights frameworks.
