Construction Management Director

About the role

The Construction Management Director will lead the construction management function across multiple real‑estate development projects, ensuring delivery aligns with the company’s strategic objectives. This senior position requires overseeing all phases of construction, from planning through handover, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the construction management department for diverse development projects.
• Develop and implement construction strategies that support business goals.
• Manage planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, engineering standards, local regulations, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and apply mitigation plans.
• Review and approve schedules, budgets, cash flows, procurement plans, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with Development, Design, Commercial, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Drive value‑engineering initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Oversee contract administration, variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Maintain construction quality assurance and control standards.
• Mentor and develop high‑performing construction teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s preferred).
• PMP certification highly preferred; PMI, RICS or equivalent a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive construction and project‑management experience in real‑estate development.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large‑scale projects.
• Proven track record delivering residential, commercial, hospitality or mixed‑use developments.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
