Country Compliance Officer

About the role

Siemens Mobility Egypt is seeking a Country Compliance Officer to support the implementation of its high‑speed rail project. The role will ensure compliance with global standards, data‑privacy regulations and export‑control requirements across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive an integration strategy for sustainable compliance assurance.
• Lead compliance risk management, including identification, assessment and mitigation of key risks.
• Advise senior management on compliance, data‑privacy and export‑control matters.
• Implement global guidelines and adapt policies to local regulatory requirements.
• Support investigations, audits and remediation actions.
• Conduct compliance reviews for third‑party intermediaries, benefits events and letters of authorization.
• Provide regular compliance updates to management and track action items.
• Maintain close alignment with business operations and participate in management meetings.
• Establish networks of compliance ambassadors, export‑control associates and data‑privacy advisors.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, SCM, project teams and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
