Cyber Defense Officer

About the role

The Cyber Defense Officer will lead vulnerability and security compliance scanning activities for onebank’s digital platform. This role ensures that systems remain resilient against threats, align with industry best practices, and support a secure, compliant operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability and security compliance scans of software, systems, and networks.
• Analyze scan results, prioritize findings by severity, and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Develop and implement remediation plans to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
• Maintain accurate documentation of security measures, assessments, and compliance activities.
• Monitor vendor security advisories and alerts to identify and apply relevant patches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications engineering, computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in information security or IT.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISO27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
