Cyber Security Cloud Security Manager

About the role

PwC is opening a new Technology & Innovation Centre in Cairo offering technology solutions to consulting clients worldwide, covering packaged applications, cybersecurity, data analytics, custom development and cloud services on AWS, Azure and Google. It is looking for an experienced manager-level cyber security architect to join its advisory team in the Cyber Security practice, with a global outlook and a strong focus on cloud security engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the team on key issues and contribute significantly to project success
• Manage and deliver cyber security and cyber risk assignments, including documentation, reports and quality assurance of junior team work
• Write cyber security strategies rooted in a pragmatic understanding of the client's business situation
• Design cyber security services and architectures that enable strong security capabilities
• Keep abreast of business and industry trends and their impact on cyber risk responses
• Build client relationships, support senior colleagues on client proposals and solution offerings, and help develop security architecture toolkits, methodologies and accelerators
• Help retain and develop other cyber security team members

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant experience across a broad range of cyber and information security skills
• University degree, ideally in computer and information science, business informatics, computer engineering, cyber security, information technology or management information systems
• Experience in consulting or in multinational environments
• Excellent oral and written English; German is a plus
• Leadership experience is an advantage; experience in business development, bid teams and RFPs, and in managing complex business change, is desirable

Required skills

• Strong practical experience in infrastructure and cloud platform security
• Knowledge of methods and frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF and NIST CSF
• Knowledge of cloud service providers and cloud-native security technologies
• Professional certification such as CISSP, SABSA or TOGAF is desirable
• Agile team experience
