Data Analyst

About the role

Siemens EDA is looking for a motivated Data Analyst to help build and enhance the data infrastructure for its Customer Support Analytics function. You will work with global support teams to turn large data sets into actionable insights that improve operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that drive business outcomes.
• Manipulate and analyse large data sets to identify trends and patterns.
• Create and manage data pipelines, from ingestion through transformation, storage, and refresh scheduling.
• Develop robust data models (star/snowflake schemas, semantic layers) and ensure consistent metric definitions.
• Collaborate with regional support managers to improve KPIs and operational excellence.
• Build user‑focused interfaces and applications for data consumption and governance.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern programming, analytics, and machine‑learning tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field with relevant work experience.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Critical thinking, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to influence change across cultures.

• Python
• SQL
• Power BI (visualizations, datasets, semantic models, governance)
• Data modelling (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas)
• Experience with cloud‑based data pipelines and orchestration
• Familiarity with MS Fabric and Snowflake
• AI‑enabled development tools and automation
