Data Engineer Associate – ETIC

About the role

Join PwC’s Data Engineering, Reporting and Analytics practice within the Technology, Data & Analytics business unit. You will work on transformation projects for large organisations, designing and building data infrastructure and pipelines using modern cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines, integration and transformation solutions on Azure.
• Develop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses and big‑data platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across PwC’s global network to deliver client transformation programmes.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience with Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.).
• Experience delivering end‑to‑end enterprise data platform implementations.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Catalog, Azure Stream Analytics.
• SQL and query performance tuning.
• Data modelling (dimensional, Data Vault, 3NF).
• ETL/ELT processes and tools (Informatica, SSIS, Talend, Datastage, IICS).
• Data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
• DevOps, networking and security fundamentals on cloud platforms.
