Dental Biomaterials Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Dental Biomaterials Teaching Assistant to support the Faculty of Dentistry at the German University in Cairo. The role involves assisting in laboratory and clinical sessions, delivering tutorial content, and handling departmental administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Explain course material clearly during practical lab, clinical sessions and tutorials.
• Oversee student portfolios and monitor their progress as a tutor.
• Prepare lab and clinical equipment and dental supplies for classes under faculty guidance.
• Perform administrative tasks such as quality checks, document filing and maintaining accurate patient records.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or a Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Previous teaching or administrative experience is an asset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of dental biomaterials and clinical procedures.
• Proficiency in preparing laboratory and clinical setups.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and perform quality checks.
