Destination Manager - Hurghada

About the role

Jet2holidays is seeking a Destination Manager for its Hurghada operations. In this senior position you will lead the destination team, oversee resort and airport activities and ensure a seamless holiday experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Team Leaders and Customer Helper‑Representatives, conducting regular performance reviews and welfare meetings.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations at the resort and airport, coordinating with local agents, transfer providers, hoteliers and UK stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, control costs and achieve customer service KPIs, using Management Information (MI) reports and digital systems.
• Handle operational disruptions, including destination crises, flight delays and customer escalations.
• Analyse trends and local market knowledge to propose business decisions and improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, service level agreements and health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven management experience in holiday, cruise or travel operations, with a track record of leading large teams.
• Strong budgetary and decision‑making skills under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; Arabic language knowledge is a plus.
• IT literacy and the ability to interpret data and MI reports.
